So, we're now in Khulna and we just worked at a conference for the weekend for the people who work for a local Christian Bangla organization. It was just like the True City Conference in the way that there were big group morning sessions and then in the afternoon they went to one of 5 different workshops. I led the workshop on worship with two friends, and it went quite well. Also, a couple of the other students did the major teachings in the morning. It was really fun and we made a lot of friends.
I made on good friend named Christina; she's a school teacher and is the sweetest lady I've met here. We had some lovely chats and she asked me to pray for her and her family. When we didn't go to breakfast at the conference center the second day, she got quite worried that I hadn't eaten. On the second day of the conference she gave me a lovely gift of pearl earrings. She was such a sweet and genuine woman and she gave me her contact information so hopefully I can keep in touch with her.
