As the date grows closer to my departure for the 5 month experience in Maui, I am even more grateful for the many great friends and family members God has blessed me with.  Every where I turn, there is someone beside me who is overflowing with love and support for me as I approach this new adventure.  And as the Christmas season is one where we surround ourselves with family and friends, I am feeling very loved this year.  Another way in which I have felt very loved is through the generous donations everyone has given for my trip.  I am now fully prepared for the trip and whatever else lies ahead.  I could not have been able to afford this trip without all of your generous hearts.  I cannot wait to go on this adventure and report of my goings on to all those who have generously given some of their hard earned money.  Since getting a job, I now realize that it take a lot to make each dollar when you are employed full time.  The Lord has used so many great people thus far in my life to show me that He cares for me and will look after me.  May I continue to see and recognize His hand in my life as I venture out on this new chapter in my life.
