So, it's Mother's Day!  I nearly forgot until the pastor's wife came in to help us put on our saris.  We all told her "Happy Mother's Day" and we each gave her a hug.  It made me miss my Mom instantly.

At church they did a beautiful ceremony with the mothers and their children.  The kids had big red flowers and they each gave it to their mom.  When they presented it to her, they said something to her; it was either thanks for something or asking for forgiveness.  When they finished that they hugged their mom and touched her feet.  Once all the children had done this, the mom had a little yellow flower to present to her children.  She responded to their proclamations, kissed them on the forehead and presented the flower.

To my Mom:   "I love you and miss you lots!"  I would love to hug her, kiss her on the cheek, kiss my hand and touch both her feet.  "I wouldn't have had you raise me and my siblings any other way."
