So today marks two years since I have graduated from my DTS and tomorrow will be two years since we last said our goodbyes. The six months I spent in Maui and Bangladesh with my DTS family were life changing in many ways and I miss everyone dearly. It was during my DTS that I realized my passion for Social Work, realized my passions for prayer and intercession, for social justice, for showing everyone the unconditional love of Christ to the best of my ability. It was there that I began to understand the depth of His love for us and the great act of love of the cross. I am so very grateful for everyone who contributed to those amazing six months. I pray that I may be able to see most of you again during my life here on earth, but if not, I know that God will continue to bless you all and keep you in His safe and loving arms. I miss you all so much it hurts and I was in tears at church today and again this afternoon as I read your notes to me and looked over pictures. Remember the passions you had for God and His calling on your life in Maui and on outreach and continue to search for Him and the fulfillment of His promises to you. WDTS Maui 2012 <3
I wanted to say a great thank you again to everyone who has donated to my trip this summer. It means a lot to me that you want to help me see and potentially find an avenue to fulfill the calling God has placed on my life. We live in a big world, and I am amazed by the generosity of so many people I know. You do not go unnoticed, believe me.
