We're in Dhaka for a couple days.  That's a picture of the busy streets of Dhaka above.  We actually leave for Koulna tomorrow via train early in the morning.  On Saturday we took a 7 hour bus ride from Khagrachari to Dhaka.  Our last few days in Khagrachari were quite busy, but it was good.  On the last day there, we got to visit some churches in in villages where Matt Laskey went with his team in 2006. It was a great time to see the fruit after a few years.  It was sad for us to say goodbye to our contact in Khagrachari.  He has my email and will keep in touch with us.  Our contact said that we opened 20 new doors for new relationships for them and YWAM in their area.  It was a great time in Khagrachari.

Tomorrow we leave for Koulna where we will be running a conference our first week there.  From how it has been described, it sounds a lot like True City.  This conference is for 150 people, most of whom are fairly new Christians.  We have been asked to basically do all the teachings.  One boy and one girl will each be doing a 3 hour lecture (1.5 hour of translation).  One is on the nature and character of God and the other is on Holy Spirit.  Those are spread out, one on one morning and the other the following morning.  In the afternoon we are split up into smaller teams of 2 or 3 each where we will be running a variety of seminars.  The people attending the conference sign up for these and the topics vary.  My group is a group of three and we are doing the seminar on Worship.  It should be a very interesting time and I can't wait to see how it goes.  Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to work and teach here.
